Zum Aggregat gehören O. litoralis, O. vernus und O. vulgaris. Trotz stark unterschiedlicher Blütezeiten und Ökologie wurden O. vernus (frühblühend, vor allem in Äckern) und O. vulgaris (spätblühend, vor allem auf verdichteten Böden im Grünland und an Wegrändern) nicht überall ausreichend unterschieden. Insbesondere die Karte von O. vulgaris weist deutliche Lücken auf, etwa in Südbayern; daher wird neben den beiden anderen Arten nur das Aggregat als Karte gezeigt.

Die Art wurde nicht in allen Bundesländern ausreichend von O. vulgaris unterschieden, daher sind einige der größeren Lücken in der Karte wahrscheinlich keine echten Verbreitungslücken, so etwa in Südbayern oder Brandenburg.
